We Act Art Auction

The We Act Club has 30 different pieces of art of various canvas sizes to auction off; there is something for everyone: modern art, realistic art, famous art painting replications, you name it and we have it! Every single class at the school has painted their very own canvas, and the members of our We Act Club have also painted a few pieces.

We Act is part of a family of organizations, including Free The Children and We Day, that has a shared goal: to empower a generation to shift the world from ‘me’ to ‘we’—through how we act, how we give, the choices we make on what to buy and what to wear, the media we consume and the experiences with which we choose to engage. The We Act Club at Astral has been working towards this same goal. We work to empower our students to take on and support one local and one global organization to make a difference in the lives of others. We have focused our efforts on planning and organizing events to help raise funds in our pursuit to provide support. Our concentration has been on giving to others and helping others without asking for anything in return. We want our students to feel the joy and pride they will inevitably feel when they realize just how much their decisions and their actions are changing the lives of others. All funds raised through the auction will be put towards the club's local (IWK) and global (UNICEF) initiatives.

The auction will be held in conjunction with the school's ARTS WEEK which is taking place May 11th-14th. While the auction will be online, we invite everyone to come view the artwork, in person, the evening of May 13th during the ART SHOWCASE.

Bidding will commence on Friday, May 8th at noon and will close Friday, May 15th at noon.

ENJOY THE AUCTION! THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT!!!
